PolyCon 3.0 Software
TILL Photonics GmbH has introduced a new version of it's free PolyCon software for controling your Polychrome V easily form your computer screen. The new version includes basic protocol options for single and dual wavelength experiments.
The PolyCon 3.0 software controls the Polychrome V light source from TILL Photonics. It was re-written from the ground up and now provides such convienient feature like drag and drop. You also can save up to five custom protocols (single or dual wavelength), that will be just one click away the next time you need them. Further features are the setup and execution of single and dual-wavelength protocols with access to all relevant timing parameters. The support for external triggers is also implemented to synchronize light source and cameras for example. To shorten the time for accessing often used protocols the PolyCon 3.0 software has five protocol hotkeys that can be freely assinged to previously saved protocols.
TILL Photonics, founded in 1993 by the current head of the Bioimaging Center of the University of Munich, Rainer Uhl, develops and markets high-end light sources, imaging systems and a novel microscope platform concept, the iMIC, all designed for the life sciences. TILL’s light sources have always set new standards with regards to speed, brightness and stability of the light output.
