Troubleshooting in TILLvisION

This message is shown if the default memory requirements of the Imaging System aren't met. To acquire images at highest rates, the image data has to be kept in physical memory during the experiment. The total physical memory requirement of TILLvisION is calculated and reserved during start time. There are different reasons for it to fail:

• insufficient user rights (to reserve physical memory you need at least Power-User privileges)
• some Windows NT device drivers (e.g.: network or graphic adaptor driver) already use (too) much memory. (There is a known problem with an STB graphic adaptor driven in true color mode, it can be fixed by switching to 16 bit color.)
• other user mode applications have already reserved (too) much memory. Please check your Startup ("Autostart") group if there are programs started which you don't really need
