Troubleshooting in TILLvisION

Vision starts with the message "Camera init failed [-4]"

Symptom: Vision starts with the following error message:

This error means that the connection between grabber and camera could not be established. Possible reasons are:

• Camera is not switched on.
• Cables are interchanged. If this is the case, the control LED on the camera is permanently red (a blinking red light indicates that the chip cooling has not reached its final temperature yet). Note that this is a serial communication and that Tx of the grabber has to be connected to Rx of the camera and vice versa.
  Cable is broken or only one cable is attached.
• You are using an Imago QE camera with an old driver. Check the version of the senntcam.dll in the TILLvisION program folder (right-click on the filename and use the properties dialog). The version should be 1.18 or higher.
